About Parish Council Websites

VCS Websites have been involved with local parish councils for over 20 year, starting in this field by running two Parish Council's website services alongside village websites.

We could see the need for a very simple and inexpensive website offering for smaller councils, and this was augmented by the imminent loss of the awful essexinfo.net free websites that some councils local to us relied upon. We spent lockdown coming up with an industry leading offering, that we are convinced is the easiest system for Clerks to manage and a huge time saver.

Director Hugh Frostick has himself served as a Parish Councillor, Vice-Chairman (and acting clerk for a few weeks) so he knows the ropes!

He has over 20 years web development experience and has been creating Drupal websites for over 15 years. Drupal is like the Professional version of the Wordpress Web Tool which many people have heard of, but it is also Open-Source Software and also comes free of licensing fees and is under continuous development for the modern world..
